I portrayed the the beloved matriarch of the Yokum family–Mammy–posing her with Pappy my wonderful son Abner, his bride Daisy and assorted friends.
This production was done in 1961 and was entirely produced, directed, and performed by a bunch of high school thespians.
We were way to busy in those days playing dress up and acting foolish to ever amount to anything…and yet, most of us did pretty well.
Some of these talented folks are part of the Senior class on FB. Still acting a little foolish now and then.
